About us

Town & Country Sales & Service opened in 2009, is owned and operated by Jim Schmidt. Jim has established a well known reputation in Brantford, BrantCounty and surrounding areas with his knowledge of agricultural equipment as well as lawn and garden equipment. Jim has over 30 years experience in the AG retail industry, having worked at Gribben Farm Supply along side his father-in-law. Jim has a large clientele following with which to get his venture started. These clients stay loyal to the Schmidt and Gribben related businesses for their small town values and their commitment to customer satisfaction. Besides himself, Jim has brought on board his wife, Jane, with 30 years experience managing Gribben Farm Supply. 

Also joining the team is Jim McKee, formerly from Gribben Farm Supply. Jim McKee has over 30 years of experience in engine service and sales, which makes him a master mechanic and sales representative.

The products that are available in the showroom at Town and Country are Columbia, ECHO, Grasshopper, Buhler, Ohio Steel and more. The access to repair parts and accessories is ever increasing - Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, Tecumseh, Grasshopper, MTD, Belarus, Zetor, Universal and many aftermarket parts for both lawn & garden and agricultural equipment.

You name it, we can fix it. Our mechanics are authorized warranty and service specialists for many of the top machine manufacturers in the world, so you can trust the work we do. As we say around here "We Know Your Machine".
